Lisa Burdette is one of those rare individuals who combines her sense of idealism and realism with action and energy. She is founder of The Dallas School of Etiquette and dedicated to developing social, leadership, and communication skills to guide students and adults through a productive and successful life. Her depth of study and understanding of national and international business etiquette are globally recognized.

 

Lisa graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Education. She is certified by the American School of Protocol as an Etiquette Consultant and completed the Savoir Vivre Course from the Etiquette Institute of Washington, D.C. Lisa attended the Barbizon School for Etiquette & Protocol and The British School of Excellence in London, England. She also holds a Business Certificate from the American School of Protocol and from The British School of Excellence. She also studied in Paris, France, and received a certification in the areas of:

  • Deportment and Social Etiquette for Ladies Table Manners
  • The Art of Being a Hostess
  • The Art of Table Decoration

Lisa’s service on the Congressional Academy Boards gave her knowledge and experience in government legislation for Military Academies. Two of her sons graduated from West Point, two sons from the Naval Academy and two daughters from the Air Force Academy.

Lisa is a proud mother of 6 children and a stepmother to one. She reared her children to integrate faith, respect, humility, kindness and honor. In 2021, she relocated from Georgia to Highland Park, Texas. Her husband, Elliott, is an attorney and vast supporter of his energetic and accomplished wife.
