Etiquette is simply a set of rules. It is nothing more. Manners, however, are the way we make others feel. And that’s how others remember us…not by our academic excellence or our position in life, but rather how we make them FEEL when we’re with them.
Kindness is a rich and powerful tool but it holds no value without a pure soul that acts out the deed of kindness. At The Dallas School of Etiquette, founder Lisa Burdette laser focuses on teaching manners and social skills that give her students confidence and balance – an enduring treasure of knowledge and attitudes that empower students with self-confidence. Manners become an attitude of gratitude. Gratitude is Lisa’s first mission. When we capture the needs of others and make those needs paramount to our own selfish needs, the legacy of etiquette and manners emerges.
As the founder of The Dallas School of Etiquette, Lisa Burdette offers private, business and group etiquette training to meet the growing demands of corporations seeking her expertise. Her comprehensive etiquette training allows her to cater to a diverse audience, including children, adults, military academies and corporate clients.
